Hi everyone! Today I’m super excited to be joining the Altenew Blog Hop. There’s a lot of inspiration to be found there and some awesome prizes to be won so make sure to keep reading to find out more details on that! I really enjoyed having a chance to create something with these lovely products – it was hard deciding what to use first!
The paper with the floral and butterflies really stood out to me and I knew I wanted that to be part of my layout. It took me a while to fussy cut it out but it was definitely worth it.
I cut out some florals from another paper and colored then pink to match the colors from the collection. There’s a lot you can do with these black and white florals which make them a lot of fun to play around with.
I don’t use stamps too often but I love the rollerstamp included in the Reflection collection so I wanted to at least use it for this layout. I used the ‘famous’ plastic packaging technique to create a fun watercolor effect on my layout.
I really love all the various embellishments like the wood pieces, wood buttons, chipboard and how they look on the layout – the dimension they add is really nice as well.
I finished off my layout by adding some gold splatters by using a mist from my stash.
