I wasn’t really sure on what I wanted to do but then I decided that it’s been a while since I’ve done a layout with a lot of pink so that’s what I went for. I added a bit of black and gold accents so it wouldn’t be as monotone.
For my background I used a piece of paper from the Maggie Holmes Confetti collection I had sitting in my stash – I love that it’s dipped in gold glitter – it’s so pretty!
I love this cute pink bow and wanted to use it for a long time. The cork butterflies were in the package Jody sent me, I really love them! I punched out a small butterfly using my punch to add a little bit of layering to it.
This is one of the florals I stamped using the Dear Lizzy Documentary stamp set. I actually had a piece of paper sitting in my stash that I used to ‘practice’ the plastic packaging technique but the other day I came across it and thought that maybe it would look cool with some stamping on top of it. I ended up really liking how it looked so I cut some of those elements out and used them on this layout. I also used my 1″ circle punch for punch out some circles and added them to the background. The plastic packaging technique is one I love but rarely use (maybe I should!)
I absolutely love these paper flowers from the Maggie Holmes Bloom collection and the shade of pink went perfectly with the rest of layout. I also really like the dimension it adds.
